Cezanne painted a lot in the surrounding of his atelier des Lauves during the last years of his life.
Near by, the view from Painters' Garden offers a unique visual experience of Sainte-Victoire. Thanks to the practice of painting and drawing, you will have the unique opportunity to paint from this late motif and gain a deeper understanding of his late work. We will explore what he may have meant by « Painting from nature is not copying the object; it is realizing one's sensations. »
Thanks to an instruction adapted to all levels and publics, your instructor, a professional artist, offers courses in painting and drawing. After many years of experience, she will provide you with simple and intuitive tools to sharpen your vision and express what you see on paper. You can sign up for this course as many times as you want, practicing art in presence of nature offers endless learning opportunities. Basic material will be handed to you.
