Presentation

Accompanied by Laura, a qualified hiking guide, explore the less-travelled trails on the north, south and east sides of this legendary mountain. We’ll climb to places steeped in history, such as the Oppidum of Untinos, the Cézanne refuge, the hermitage of Saint-Ser and the ruins of Le Trou.

These walks reveal an intimate and authentic side to Sainte-Victoire. Through tales of local heritage, interpreting the landscape and discovering the Mediterranean flora, each outing unveils a new facet of this legendary mountain. Several breaks punctuate our route, offering the chance to catch your breath, learn more about the history of the area and admire the stunning surrounding scenery.

The hike lasts between 3h30 and 4 hours and the elevation gain should not exceed 400m. 

Not suitable for wheelchair users.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION : 

  • Walking tour lasting approximately 3h30 - 4h, depending on the difficulty and the size of the group

  • Bring walking shoes, water, a snack, sun cream, a hat in summer, and warm clothes in winter
  • Language: French, English and Spanish
  • Moderate level hike. Elevation gain: +/- 400m.
  • Participants must be able to walk for at least 3 hours.
  • Suitable walking or trail shoes are mandatory. Anyone wearing unsuitable footwear may be refused access to the hike.
  • Once you have made your booking, the hike leader will contact you to plan your outing (level of difficulty, starting point, etc.).​

From June to September, the Sainte Victoire mountain site may be closed* by prefectural order depending on the weather conditions on the day.
