Cezanne's Studio
Aix-en-Provence is celebrating Cezanne in 2025.
It’s the year our city reunites with its most famous resident. It’s the year we pay tribute to the man, the artist and his work in the run-up to a major international exhibition, the renovation and reopening of his family home and last studio. It’s the year a new cycle begins, restoring Cezanne to his rightful place at the heart of his beloved city.
Ticket sales for the ‘Cezanne au Jas de Bouffan’ exhibition at the Musée Granet will open in December 2024, and those for the Cezanne sites (the atelier des Lauves or "Cezanne's Studio" and the bastide du Jas de Bouffan) in 2025.
Since 1 April 2024, Cezanne's studio has been closed to visitors for a period of works. It will gradually reopen in the summer of 2025 with a completely new visitor programme.
In the meantime, tours on the theme of Cezanne are still available, as are tours of the Bibémus quarries.
