Dive into an immersive artistic experience at the Carrières des Lumières. Digital exhibitions transform this exceptional mineral site into a space where digital art comes to life. Each exhibition invites you to explore art from a fresh perspective, through monumental projections that surround you with images and sounds, offering a full immersion into both renowned and contemporary works of art.
In 2025, the Carrières des Lumières present two new immersive exhibitions :
- a long program: « Monet, Founder of Impressionism »
- a short programm: « Rousseau, A world of dreams »
Before heading back to Aix-en-Provence, we will pause at Saint Paul de Mausole, the psychiatric facility known for hosting Vincent Van Gogh, its most illustrious resident in 1889. It was here that he painted "Starry Night" (optional, tickets not included).
